The cylinder barrels "KRONIM" are produced in centrifuged cast iron, a special kind of alloy with antiferritization additives, which grant an higher wear resistance and avoid heat or surface treatments. |
The "K" pistons in aluminium PS 12 are produced with chilled iron and heat treated. |
